Dimana Krastevitch

We are delighted to welcome Dimana Krastevitch back to Shipwatch Tennis Club. She was away from SW for a year working with a youth tennis program. but was previously head pro at Shipwatch for 11 years.

Dimana was born in Sophia, Bulgaria in 1982. She moved to Florida in 2000. Along with her charm and energetic personality, Dimana brings much experience to Shipwatch Tennis. She played on the tour from 1999-2006 with a best WTA singles ranking of 212 and a ranking of 175 in doubles. Also noteworthy, she played the fed cup for Bulgaria in 2006.

She is PTR and USPTA certified since 2007 and has been teaching tennis for 15 years. She has worked with juniors and professional tennis players from all over the world. Her summer camps, clinics and quick start tennis programs have helped kids prepare for high school tennis and college with full scholarships.
On a personal note, Dimana is fluent in English, French and of course Bulgarian. She currently works with high school players and high performance juniors. Dimana is married to George Rangelov and has two sons: George Rangelov, age 16 and Alex, age 13. Like their mother, both boys are avid tenis players and highly ranked in Florida.
Shipwatch tennis players are fortunate to have such a passionate and serious coach who will always give 100 percent and expects the same from her students.

Wendall has been teaching tennis at Shipwatch since 2009, and helps the Head Pro and Pro Shop staff serve the general needs of the members. He arranges games for members, guests, and visitors. He regularly subs in the different playing groups, and sends out informative emails to over 200 club members on social matters. He works well with seniors, beginning, and novice players, helping them move quickly to intermediate skill levels. Students find his repertoire of doubles tips and tactics fun and easy to learn. He emphasizes "Safety, Skills, & Fun" in his lesson. Wendall serves the larger Tampa Bay tennis community by sending current tennis news/happenings via an email newsletter to over 2,300 players/pros.
